What experience do I need to open a blowdry franchise with Hott Blowdry & Beauty Lounge?
You actually do not need experience in the salon industry or be a licensed cosmetologist to own one of our franchises. We look for people who are excited about all things “beauty” and who share our passion and philosophy. General supervisory and management skills are desired. If you love the beauty industry, want to run a fun business, and are service-oriented and community-involved, this could be a really HOTT opportunity that’s just right for you.
What is provided as part of the franchise program?
Franchise owners and their managers will spend five days training at one of our locations. You will receive comprehensive training on the Hott franchise model in the classroom and on the job. When it’s time for your Grand Opening, our team of Hotties will travel to your location for up to five days to ensure you are confident, excited, and ready to open your doors. Franchise owners will also have access to our Confidential Operations Manual for daily operations. Additionally, our team is available to assist you when you need us. We are always just a call or click away.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners but may refer to financing sources.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We collect a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross revenues. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. Are there any advertising fees?
Franchise owners will be required to remit 2% of their Gross Sales to the System Marketing Fund. Additionally, each franchise must spend a minimum of $1000 per month on local store marketing. What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is seven years, with two subsequent renewal terms of five years each.
What does a typical salon look like?
A standard salon typically spans about 1,200 to 2,000 square feet, featuring stations for blow-drying, chairs for makeup and brow services, and secluded rooms for lash treatments. The soundproofed, private lash room is a standout element, crafted for ultimate relaxation. The salon will also have a reception and lounge area equipped with retail shelves and tables to exhibit products. A separate utility room will house laundry facilities, a sanitization area, and restrooms.
